He was predeceased by: his parents, William Duernberger and Edna Duernberger (Weed); his siblings, Delores Marx and Ronald Duernberger Sr.; and his brother-in-law Robert Marx.
He is survived by: his wife La Vonne; and his sister Cheri Knowles (Blaine) of Wausau. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
