He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Siebert and Ruth Siebert (Eck); his father-in-law Reuben Staats (Helen); his uncle Herman Siebert (Anna); his brother-in-law Stan Petts; and his close friends, Leighton Stewart, Charles Ahner and George Glasscock.
He is survived by: his friends, Jerry Dempsey, Doug Kay, Shirley Stewart, John and Madeleine Johnson; his fiancée Sonya; his wife Marilyn; his son Derrick (Sonya); his grandchildren, Sophia, Colin and Story; his siblings-in-law, Marge Petts and Tim Staats (Carol); his sibling's children, Mark Petts (Molly), Aaron Staats (Laura), Melissa Lodes, Monica Petts, Sally Staats and Amy Miles (Nick); his caregivers, Shelly, Jan, Laura, Alyssa, Marjorie, Chris and Julie; Bill and Abriella.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Matthew Catholic Church (229 S 28th Ave, Wausau, WI 54401).
