He is survived by: his daughter Cortney Fay Nelezen; his stepfather Darryll Schmidt (Janet Smith); his siblings, Roxanne Chronert (Doug), Steven Schmidt (Brigitte) and Matthew Schmidt (Jesse Brauer); his siblings' children, Eva Chronert, Eliott Chronert, Keelan Schmidt and Cael Schmidt; and also, Tiara Thomas and Tara Thomas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
