Genevieve Wontor Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Wontor of Wausaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jon Bednarz and Paula Bednarz (Semeniuk); and her children, Barbara, Andrew, Anthony (Christine), Bob and Chrystine.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph; and her children, Brigitte Wontor and Richard Wontor. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Augustine Catholic Church (507 Church St, Wausaukee, WI 54177). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to Marinette County Emergency Veterans Fund, 1926 Hall Ave, Marinette WI 54143.
