She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Polcyn and Marjorie I. Polcyn (Kenitz); her in-laws, Clarence and Phyllis Peterson; her brother Jim Polcyn; her sister-in-law Virginia Peterson; her daughter DaNita Battles; and her granddaughter Tara Battles.
She is survived by: her husband David R. Peterson; her children, Chris Peterson (Annie) of Des Moines, IA, David Peterson (Beth) of Wautoma, WI, Thomas Peterson (Patti) of Appleton, WI, Michelle Schroeder (Greg) of Madison, WI, Tiana Peterson (Doug), NJ and Dylan Besk (Teresa) of Sacramento, CA; her grandchildren, CJ, Rhiannon, Nick, Falienne, Rodger Jr., Ian, Jessica, Brandon, Bailey, Brooke and Sidney; her brother Jon Polcyn (Gertrude); her siblings-in-law, Lynda Sieg (Tom) and Roger Peterson (Sally); and her aunt Annie Krueger. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (N2133 Southgate Terrace, Wautoma, WI 54982). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is established for Grace United Methodist Church.
