It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leslie G. Simonson (Wautoma, Wisconsin), who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Simonson and Bernice Simonson (Thompson); his wife Sharon Therese Glover of Mary's Catholic Church; his brother Lyman; his siblings-in-law, Jane Simonson, Colleen McGuiness, Sandy Glover, Janice Glover, Carol Frazer, Harley Frazer, Gary Glover, Gerard Glover and Steve Buchanan; and his grandson Kyle Davis Simonson.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Dale Simonson (Lori) of Markesan, WI, Philip George Simonson (Susan) of St Pete Beach, FL, Ruth Ann Dethart (Ronald) of Sparta, WI and Erik Paul Simonson (Darren Tod) of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Leigh Anne Brumley (Mike) of Evansville, WI, Casey George Simonson (Merisa) of St Petersburg, FL, Zachery Dale Simonson of Philadelphia, PA, Courtney Michelle Simonson (Brad Sheeley) of Tampa, FL, Erik Dale Dethart of Onalaska, WI, Veronika Ann Dethart of Madison, WI and David Kyle Dethart of Sparta, WI; his great grandchild Andi Rae Simonson; his siblings, Boyd Simonson (Jane) of Waupaca, WI, Zona Leitch (Bryon) of Sheboygan, WI and Ingrid Corlett (Brian) of Oshkosh, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Maureen Price, Roxanne Buchanan and Donna Gatzke. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mount Morris Holden Lutheran Church (N3388 WI-152, Wautoma, WI 54982). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
