She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Ronspies and Hilda Ronspies (Krueger); her parents-in-law, Elmer and Agnes Nelson; and her siblings-in-law, Loren Nelson, Art and Ingrid Boetzer.

She is survived by: her husband Donald Nelson; her son Trent Nelson; her sister Carolyn Barger (Larry); her sister-in-law LaVonne Nelson; her nieces and nephews, Brenda Steele (Jeff), Jayne Fleming (Tom), Jan Nelson, Deann Bergeson (Dave), Karen Brokaw (Tom), Tom Nelson (Janet), Greg Nelson (Judy), Rob Nelson, Art Boetzer (Vickie) and Bill Boetzer; and her cousins, John Ronspies, Brian Ronspies, Marie, Eugene Mashuda and Dick Groskreutz. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and friends.
