The memory of Ronald Thurley of Wautoma, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 25, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Howard and Mary Marjorie Thurley (Knapp); his sisters, Julie Dehling (Herold "Jerry") and Sonia Siegel (John); his nephew Joe Siegel; his mother-in-law Verona Gray (Harvey); and his siblings-in-law, John Carlin and Susie Carlin.
He is survived by: his wife Gail L. Thurley; his children, Ronald J. Thurley (Patricia Steinhaus), Shari Thurley, Randy Thurley (Darlene), Wendy Meyer (Steve) and Michelle Thurley of Cookeville, TN; his grandchildren, Ronald Howard Spivey (Nicki), Haylee Steinhaus (Chris), Rebecca Wingate (Lawrence), Crystal Troyer (Timmy), Thomas Sagami, Collin Thurley (Jessica), Ashley Thurley, Shane Thurley, Tomio Sagami (Shelby), Brandon Meyer (Danielle), Brent Meyer (Lauren), Bryan Meyer (Megan), Aiden Schumacher and Ollie Schumacher; his great grandchildren, Lilli, Lane, Libby Jo, Ayden, Jaxon, Liam, Lawson, Jaxson, Eddie, Conner, Mac, Mavis, Presley, Remi, Owen, Aubree, Bryson and Maci; his sister Shelia Russo; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Hendrickson (Joanne), Bill Hendrickson (Mary), Roger Carlin (Debbie), Timmy Carlin, Jimmy Carlin, Judy Haase (Bill), Toni Busha (Joe), Jean Winchell (Greg) and Cinde Killoran (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A prayer was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Leikness Funeral Home (358 S Oxford St, Wautoma, WI 54982). A Mass was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (364 S Cambridge St, Wautoma, WI 54982).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Ron's memory.
