Allan Dobberfuhl wrote a sympathy message

“I worked with Wayner (my nickname for Wayne) at Miller Brewing late seventies and early eighties. I was a new hire and he mentored me. We often had lunch together and compared our homemade lunches. Wayner always had great lunches. I visited him at his home in Wautoma five or six years ago. We had a great visit 'cuz he was a great guy. My condolences, Allan Dobberfuhl”
