Gerald A. Bequest passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025 at the age of 89.
A devoted husband to Jacqueline (nee Becker), proud father of Laurie (Mike) Garrett, the late Gerald M. & Jeffrey.
His legacy lives on through his six grandchildren, Christina Melk, Marcia (Donny) Tearney, Scott (Liz) Brince, Brandi Stough, Andrea (Dan) Bequest, Ashley (Craig) Bequest-Roeder and eleven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him endless joy and pride.
A cherished brother of the late Orval, Carol, the late Harold "Jack", Allan, William, Charlene & Thomas. Additionally, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
United in marriage to Jackie on July 23, 1955, Jerry lived a full and meaningful life rooted in love and unwavering dedication to his wife and family.
Jerry worked for many years on the railroad as a package handler. Later, he served the Wauwatosa School District as a custodian, taking great pride in his work and the role, he played in supporting students and staff.
In his free time, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; especially his love for fishing and spending time tinkering in the garage. Along with many cherished memories fishing with his grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Jerry will be remembered for his faith, strength, warm heart, stories, wisdom, and quiet sense of humor.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 10 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Valhalla Memorial Park.
