He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Mortensen (Houts) and Basil Mortensen (Helen); and his siblings, Dean Mortensen and Connie Smith. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Mortensen; his children, Daniel Mortensen, Laverne Mortensen (Lindsey), Troy Beebe (Cindy) and Kris Beebe; his grandchildren, Garrett Beebe, Jasmine LeBrun and Regan Belisle; his great grandchildren, Lily, Jackson, Asher and Magnus; and his siblings, Jim Mortensen, John Mortensen, Bonnie Moser, Ernie Mortensen, Helen Jean Mortensen and Mae Mortensen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Salem Lutheran Church (803 2nd St, Shell Lake, WI 54871). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
