She was predeceased by : her parents, Emmet Charles and Viola Bell Smith (Jerry Burk); her brothers, Marvin Jay Smith and Jerry David Smith; and her daughters, Jewelette Sue Burk and Jeanette Jean Burkee.

She is survived by : her son John (Trudy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
