She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Kathlyn Slater (Gerald), Karin Gale (Richard), Kristine Borkenhagen (Steven) and Karl Kastner (Kristen); her grandchildren, Zachary (Kelsey), Eric Slater (Silvia), Anne Gale, Sara Huston (Robert), Joseph Borkenhagen (Anna Behrens), Kendall (Steven Schinkal) and Kaiser Kastner; and her great grandchildren, Charles and Katherine Huston.
