She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Grunow and Martha Grunow; and her sister Nancy Turk. She is survived by: her significant other Robert Kaufmann; her children, Jennifer Kern (Kevin) and Scott Kaufmann; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Katelyn, Brady, Jack and Connor; and her siblings, Kathy Braun (Glenn) and Rick Grunow. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's name to the Salvation Army, The Unity Club of West Bend, WI, of to Full Shelf Food Pantry in West Bend is appreciated.
