He is survived by: his wife Joanne Fuller; his stepdaughter Laurie Hicken (Tom); his granddaughter Alyssa Bellefeuil (Jesse); his great grandchild Elijah; his siblings, Sharon Indermuehle (Richard) and Dennis Heinecke (Marcia); his nephew Mike Indermuehle; his nieces, Jennifer Lehman (Steve) and Leah Meizoso (Alex); and his uncle Wally Kohler.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, the American Stroke Association or Dysphagia Research Society.
