He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon A. and Esther M.; his siblings, Joseph, Robert, Arlyn and Elizabeth; his sisters-in-law, Pam and Kay Sarauer; and his nephews, Chad and Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Kim Meils (Ted) of West Bend, Julie Platter (Mark) of Oconomowoc, Scott (Lynn) of Janesville and Joel (Jamie) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan, Joshua, Samuel, Elizabeth and Maxwell; his pet Molly; his siblings, Mary Sonnentag, JoAnn Norton (Donald), Roger (Linda), Glenn (Carol), Gary Sarauer (Karen), Vernon, Jr., Richard (Lisa) and Frank (Rose); and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Sarauer and Gary Ernst (Darlene).
