With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine D. Tharman (West Bend, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 21, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hirschmann and Lillie Hirschmann; her granddaughter Janelle Tharman; and her brothers, Paul, Robert (Irene) and Thomas Hirschmann.
She is survived by: her significant other Richard; her sons, Mark Tharman (Lori) of West Bend, James "Jim" Tharman of Rhinelander and John Tharman (Sheryl) of Woodruff; her grandchildren, Valarie Threlkeld (Pastor Jason), Brandon Tharman (Emily), Lillian Tharman, Melanie Engel (Jonathan), Britini Boese (Pastor Ethan), Vanessa, Katie and Tyler Tharman; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Rosalie, Gabriel, Jasmynne Threlkeld, Evelyn, Eliza, Bennett Boese and Jack Tharman; her sister Carol Schmuki (Robert); and her sister-in-law Carol Schumacher.
Additional donations would be appreciated to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, a place where Elaine found a great sense of peace and friendship.
