He is survived by: his children, David (Laura), Trisha Schoofs (Dave) and John (Susan); his grandchildren, Tom Schoofs (Cory), Emily Fink (Charlie), Katelyn and Nathan Mayer; his great grandchildren, Patrick, Grayson Schoofs and Maya Fink; his siblings, Teri Kirst (Greg), Marion Wendorff (Gary) and Ray Mayer (Carol); and his sister-in-law Joan Neu. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
