He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schmid and Faith Middendorf; and his brother-in-law Ronald Joers. He is survived by: his children, Jamie of Portland, OR, Leanne of Plymouth, WI and Kristopher Schmid of Little Chute, WI; his granddaughter Hannah (Leanne); his siblings, Marie Joers of West Bend, WI, Robert Schmid (Donna), Raymond Schmid (Vickie) and Paul Schmid (Edith); and his stepfather Fred Middendorf. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Those who wish may give memorials to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or for the benefit of the family.
