He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Bell and Fred Bell; and his siblings, Elvera Berend (Norbert), Eileen Brabender (Harry), Gladys Braby (Foster), Donald and Alvin.

He is survived by: his family June Chapman; his wife Kathi; his children, Brenda of Grafton, Brad (Angie) of West Bend, Jack, Bart (Lisa) of Hartford, Brady, Brett, Jason VanDyke (Kristin) of Washington, D. C., Bridget Lindau (Tim) of Janesville, Grant and Blake; his brother Jerry (Marcella) of Saukville; and his sister-in-law Eileen Bell of West Bend. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and other family members.
