It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James F. Mikkelson of West Bend, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 31, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Mikkelson and Mary Mikkelson; his sisters, Delores Hauser (LaMoine) and Jeanette Steinke (Ted); and his brother-in-law Walter "Butch" Schielke.
He is survived by: his children, James Mikkelson Jr. (Mary), Sherrie Van Akkeren (Terry), Marc Mikkelson (Sherry), Michael Mikkelson (Izzy) and Jeannette Troedel (Brian); and his siblings, Lois Rowe (Willard), Dick Mikkelson (Shirley), Ellen Schielke and Ronald Mikkelson. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
