He was predeceased by: his father Roman Gruber; his wife LaVerne Gruber; his brother Stephen Gruber; and his brother-in-law Gordon Miller. He is survived by: his children, Vincent Gruber (Bonnie), Victor Gruber (Pavielle), Valorie Gruber and Vikki Gruber; his grandchildren, Faith (Jacob), Gage, Gabriel and Pamela; his great grandchild George; and his sisters, Susan Hodges (William), Mary Miller and Teresa "Terri" Miller (Ralph). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jim's name can be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project or Disabled American Veterans.
