Though Jo Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jo Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Tyson and Gladys Tyson; and her husband Floyd Swanke. She is survived by: her children, Michele Allmann and Michael Swanke (Lisa); her grandchildren, Megan Anderson, Nathan Swanke (Taylor) and Elizabeth Swanke; her great grandchildren, Alexia, Adym and Sage; and her sister Jacqueline Hood (Richard Hood). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and special neighbors.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wisconsin Memorial Park (13225 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI 53005).
