She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Ruedt and Lucy Ruedt; her husband Bill Borges; her sister Carolyn Starr; and her grandson Connor Vliet.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Vliet (Dan) and Elizabeth Borges (John Kelm); her grandchildren, Sally (Chris Hegwood), George, Emily and Jack; her great grandchildren, Lucy and Henry Hegwood; her sister Rosalie Zahn (Tom); and her sibling's children, Tina Wallen (John), Andy Zahn, Jeff Starr (Laura) and Lynn Krummey (Mike).
Memorials in memory of Julie may be made to the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center.
