He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell Berner and Cleo Berner; his wife Sue; and his brother Raymond. He is survived by : his children, Tim, Dan, Kelley Panten and Kirk (Jaspreet Mann); and his grandchildren, Julia Panten (Tom Endries), Adam Panten and George Berner. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:45 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr, West Bend, WI 53095). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W Paradise Dr, West Bend, WI 53095).
