Leo DeGroot Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leo DeGroot of West Bend, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 7, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leo DeGroot to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark DeGroot and Marie DeGroot; his wife Lucille A. Collins of Killian's Catholic Church; his daughter Mary; his brothers, Mark, David and Paul (Pat); and his brother-in-law Dean Desotell.

He is survived by: his children, Ronald (Gail) of Menomonee Falls, Jeffrey (Brenda) of Onalaska, Thomas of Tampa, FL and Susan Sheehan (Paul) of Naperville, IL; his grandchildren, Benjamin (Taylor), Jeremiah, Zachary (Mikayla), Noah DeGroot (Monique), Calla, Finn Sheehan and Eric Kosovec; his siblings, Mary Jean Desotell and Guy DeGroot (Lynn); and his sisters-in-law, Peggy DeGroot and Mary DeGroot. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N 8th Ave, West Bend, WI 53095). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
