Leo Schickert Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2025, at the age of 96, Leo Schickert of West Bend, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Schickert and Gertrude Schickert; his wife Alice E. Thomas; his brothers, Mathias (Catherine), Donald (Ann), Henry, Bernard and Norbert; and his parents-in-law, Edward, Barbara Thomas, Lillie Schickert, Lawrence Thomas (Lucille), Regina Roeckl, Sr. (Joseph), Mary Ann Thomas, Ralph Thomas (Hildegard) and Audrey Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel of Prairie du Chien, Ken (Debi) of Waukesha and Nancy Roecker (Keith) of Allenton; his grandchildren, Paul, John, Ryan, Gini Schulist (Michael), Britni Dworak (Ryan), Kevin Roecker (Betsy) and Adam Roecker (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Nolan, Cody, Kenley Schulist, Reese, Ava and Callen Dworak; and his siblings, Mary Beine (Ralph) of West Bend, Larry Schickert (Toni) of Rhinelander and Andrew Schickert of Cascade. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N 8th Ave, West Bend, WI 53095).
