She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schairer and Iremina Schairer; her husband Richard Kreif; and her siblings, Jean, Rose, Robert and Paul Schairer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Hupfer, Esther Kreif (Patrick Popowitz) and Amy Grogg (Joseph); her grandchildren, Spencer Hupfer (Ashley), Brandon Hupfer, Jeremy Popowitz, Meagan Popowitz, Chloe Grogg and Kaylee Grogg; and her siblings, Ivan Schairer, Virginia Habersetzer, Jacob Schairer, Julia Zimdars (Gerhardt), John Schairer (Kathy) and Irma Schairer. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
She participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life for many years, raising significant funds for awareness and research.
