With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia M. Mertzig of West Bend, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 14, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, DuWayne Simon and Nancy Simon; and her brother Ron Simon. She is survived by: her husband Richard Mertzig; her daughters, Jeni Kissinger (Jeff) and Amy Betz (Jason); her grandchildren, Devin Kissinger, Emma Betz, Alexander "Alex" Betz and Hannah Betz; her brothers, Larry Simon and Randy Simon (Brenda); and her siblings-in-law, Janice DeRuyter (Rick), Nancy Fiedler (Randy), Mary Helen Wilson (John), Steven Mertzig (Amy), James Mertzig (Arlene) and Mark Mertzig (Julie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
