Phillip Charles Scalish Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip Charles Scalish (West Bend, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Scalish and Viola Scalish; his parents-in-law, Raynold and Genevieve Waddell; his siblings, Joan Hobena and Vienna Bogda; his son Gerald Scalish; and his siblings-in-law, Glenna Kohls, Carla Walsh, Cathy Boll, Brian Kohls and Steve Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Waddell; his children, Michele Klister (Don), Leslie Zuba (Greg), James Scalish (Beth), Robert Scalish and Tom Scalish (Linda); his siblings-in-law, Gary Waddell (Dorothy), Ed Walsh, Mike Boll and Rana Jenkins; his foster daughter Teresa Dekalands; and his grandchildren, Corin Plucinski (Mark), Jody Wolf (Daryl), Rachel Hewett (Steve), Alex Scalish, Peter Scalish (Shannon), Joshua, Shaina, Kala and Ema Dekalands. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Phillip Funeral Home (1420 W Paradise Dr, West Bend, WI 53095). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Washington County Memorial Park (3358 W Paradise Dr, West Bend, WI 53095).
In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
