He was predeceased by : his parents, Jack and Doris. He is survived by : his wife Lynette; his children, Susan Chapman, Kyle Hansen and Lindsey Meier (Justin); his stepdaughter Ali Abel (Justin); and his siblings, Mary Hansen-Turnpaugh, Jeff (Sherie), Rodney (Amber) and Jody (Amy).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 6:15 PM at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr, West Bend, WI 53095). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Philip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W Paradise Dr, West Bend, WI 53095).
