He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolf Roembke and Esther Roembke (Hoffmann); his wife Sylvia Riemer; his sisters, Ruth Williams (Vic), Doris Griffin (Larry) and Nancy Lehrman (Bob); his brother-in-law Gilbert Heller; and his grandson Jacob Eickstedt.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Angela (Kevin Kissinger), Kevin Eickstedt (Becca), Erin Wilder (Justin), Rebecca Roembke, Danya Dehnel and Evyn Dehnel; his great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Ila, Sierra, Waylon, Rhett, Hank, Kash and Bristol; and his sister Susan Heller.
He received the Honorary Recognition Award from the UW Alumni College of Ag & Life Sciences for his contributions to sheep and agricultural industry.
