With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Stommel (West Bend, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 18, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Stommel and Alice E. Stommel (Steffan) of Mayville, Wisconsin.; his siblings, Donald Stommel, Elizabeth Adelmeyer, Robert and Ronald Stommel; his daughter-in-law Julie Stommel; and his brother-in-law Bernie Werner.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Sperger; his children, Dawn Pilolla, Brian Stommel (Suzanne) and Kristin Paltzer (Joseph); his son-in-law Daniel Pilolla; his grandchildren, Dominic, Marco Pilolla, Cody (Megan), Samantha Stommel, Finn and Bea Paltzer; his great grandchildren, Emilee Stommel-Heberer and Haylee Stommel; his stepgrandchildren, Morgan, Mollie Zygmunt and Zach Lazich; his sister Patricia Gust of Fond du Lac; and his sisters-in-law, Ramona Werner of West Bend, Henrietta Gremminger of Kewaskum, Joyce and Adeline Stommel of Mayville. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
