He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ostrander and Rosella Ostrander; his wife Regina A. Ostrander; his stepdaughter Irene Kitchen; his sister Carol Bruggink (Wayne); his brother-in-law Jerome James; and his parents-in-law, Frederick and Bernice James.
He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Ostrander and Renee Denz (Jason); his stepson Victor Nonnweiler (Lisa); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Denz and Cody Denz; his stepgrandchildren, Scarlet Kitchen and Heather Rothstein (Gary); his sisters, Jean Welzien (Danny Schalles) and Jane Weyer; and his sister-in-law Valerie James. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service - West Bend (1315 W Washington St, West Bend, WI 53095). The military honors was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 3:45 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
