He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna and Joseph Mimier (Joyce Mimier); his siblings, Sylvia Zimmer (Clarence Zimmer) and Norman Mimier (Maryann Mimier); and his son David Mimier.

He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Mimier (Rademacher); his brothers, John Mimier (Judy) and Mark Mimier (Monica); his children, Richard Mimier (Kristine) and Mary Dolby; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Zook (Lee), Stacy Anthony Dolby, Nicole Dolby and Anna Kulavic; and his great grandchildren, Callee Zook and Enoch Zook. He is also survived by ses several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
