He is survived by: his children, Greg Komas (Tammy), Kristi Quirk and Bryan Komas (Erin); his grandchildren, Ali, Brandt, Gabe Komas, Kaity Purkey (Michael), Ava, Chloe and Donovan Quirk; his great grandchild Aurora Purkey; his close friend Pauli Nikolay; and his sister Sue Ryan (Dennis).
