She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Schmitz and Eleanora Schmitz (Cavadini); her husband Fredrick Schroeder of Mary's Catholic Church; her grandson Martin "Marty" Elsen; and her siblings, Loretta Clausen (William) and Emil Schmitz (Veronica).
She is survived by: her children, Barb Elsen (Pete), Joe Schroeder (Earlene) of Bangor and Dan Schroeder (Dorman) of Arizona; her grandchildren, Heather Reed, Ryan Schroeder, Josh Schroeder (Tina), Darcy Zinke (Douglas), Annette Niedfeldt (Dennis), Stacy Miller (Jason) and Sandra Loken (Roy); her great grandchildren, Derek (Jade), Ashley (Brenden), Lucas, William, Ryan Nicholas, Brody, Hunter, Nolan, Carey (Ryan), Nicole (Tyler), Eli (Maddy) and Jaden; and her great great grandchildren, Shilo, Fletcher, Penelope, Grayson, Huxley and Briggs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
