With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald W. Bottcher of West Salem, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 16, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Bottcher and Ann Barracliff (Roth); his stepmother Evelyn Bottcher; and his brother-in-law Fred Steinhoff. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Bottcher (Hauswirth); his children, Steven Bottcher (Dani), KariLynn Dunmeyer (Virgil) and Nick Bottcher (Lauren); his grandchildren, Tajai, Carson Dunmeyer, Madison, Brooklyn, Peyton, Tyson and Isabella Bottcher; his brothers, James (Cindee), Jeffery (Theresa), John Bottcher and Chuck Holm; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Violette, Jeanne Steinhoff, Nancy Ruud (Steve) and Patti Anderson (Ron). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
