He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Fernstaedt and Susie A. Fernstaedt (Heindel). He is survived by: his wife Jean A. Fernstaedt; his children, Jodi Thompson (Bruce) of Weston, Jill Iliff (Eric) of West Salem and Ryan Fernstaedt (Julie) of Weston; and his sister Alice Tschudy of New Glarus. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
