She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Erickson (Moan) and James Erickson; and her brother Edward Erickson. She is survived by: her husband David Walsh; her son Donald Peterson (Zana) of West Salem; her grandchildren, Brooke Bakken (Benjamin), Lance Peterson (Katelyn) and Alec Peterson; her great grandchildren, Silas, Elias and Micah Bakken; and her siblings, James Erickson Jr. (Gloria), Richard Erickson, Allen Erickson (Judy), Marlene Branson, Michael Erickson and Clarissa Erickson. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Bangor or Luther High School.
