She was predeceased by : her husband Bruce Benson; her sisters, Mary Grasdalen and Janet Carol Johnson; her siblings-in-law, Rodney Waltermire, Loren Grasdalen, David Schrieber and Josine Korsa (Joe); and her nephews, Nicholas Lowery and Keith Grasdalen.
She is survived by : her children, Anne M. Christensen (Patrick) of Orr, MN, John P. Benson (Tanya) of Viroqua and Erin K. Benson of Winona, MN; her grandson Ethan E. Baker (Jessie Larson); her sons, Jacob P. Benson (Natasha Berg) and Alexander P. Benson (AnnMarie Donahue); her siblings, John Johnson (Barbara), Kathy Waltermire, Beverly Schrieber and Marilyn Lowery (Rick); and her close friends, Ron, Marsha and Zac Hall. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
