She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Lawrence (Ekern) and Jack Lawrence; her husband Harold J Nelson; her daughter Kari Nelson; and her sister Donna Marie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn Skrede (Michael), DeAnne Nelson and Kala Muenzenberger (Mark); her great grandchildren, Jenna Kuderer (Randy), Madilyn Sloan, Matthew Skrede, Zander (Jenny Garves), Hally, Nolan Skrede, Andrew Nelson (Sarah), Kaydyn and Maximus Nelson; her cousins, Sandy Nelson (George), Betty Suiter (Ron), Kathy Stefferud (David) and Jim Ekern (Paula); and her close friends, Michelle Roers, Dan and Donna Nelson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
