He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Dunnum and Alice Dunnum (Torgerson); his wife Alice Bakkestuen; his parents-in-law, Carl and Lena Bakkestuen; and his siblings, Ronald, Clinton Dunnum, Delane Dunnum and Arnold Kerska.

He is survived by : his sons, Monte (Peg) of Westby and Craig (Vickie) of Westby; his grandchildren, Brian, Alexis Woodhouse (Jay), Sam, Brittany and Laura; his sisters, Lou Ann Jelinek (Mark) of Westby and Jeanette Zebell (Leslie) of Cashton; his sisters-in-law, Janet Dunnum of Viroqua, Donna Urbanek of Cashton, Caroline Bakkestuen, Doris Volden of Westby and Babe Kerska of Whitewater; his close friend Erma Graupe; and his granddaughters, Kira Petersen (Germany), Signe Veisig (Denmark), Frida Askautrud (Norway) and Naia Garro (Spain). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
