He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwin Briese and Elda Briese (Schrank); and his sisters, Barb and Joyce. He is survived by: his wife Karlene; his children, Lori, Jerry, John, Brenda and Joe; and his siblings, Darlene, Bette, Darwin Jr. and Leroy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
