James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Golisch and Catherine Golisch; his son-in-law Stacy Polodna; and his siblings, John, David Golisch, Catherine Sternitzky, Ruth Bugge and Mary Hughes.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Schmidt; his children, Douglas Golisch (Shalane) and Cari Polodna; and his grandchildren, Trevion, Brianna, Abigail, Alivia, Peter and Jaden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, his GE "family", and dear friends.
