He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Schulz and Mary Schulz (Hoenig); his wife Elisabeth Preuss; his brothers, Herman and Hammond Dudek; and his children, Greg, Mike, Mark "Mooch" Goodhue and Vicki Coffey.
He is survived by: his friends, Brewer, Badger and Packer; his daughters, Debra Gardner (Gary) and Myra "Jeanie" Wastart (Tom); his children-in-law, Sue Goodhue of Oxford, Linda Goodhue of Oxford and Larry Coffey (Monroe); his sister Sonja Johanson; his sisters-in-law, Cammie Quinn (David), Marie Dudek and Crusita Dudek; his cousins, Edith Milling of Germany and Renate Winter of Germany; and his close friend Sigi Laing. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Karl's name.
