We announce the death of Kay E. Taschwer (Westfield, Wisconsin), who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Schatzka and Madge Schatzka; and her husband Thomas Taschwer. She is survived by: her cousin Nan Mussey-Hinze; her children, Jody Taschwer-Milsap, Jeff Taschwer (Lori) and Mike Taschwer (Lesli); her grandchildren, Ryan Milsap, Hannah Taschwer, Madison Toy (TJ), Emma Davenport (Brian), Gabrielle Walstad (Austin), Olivia Taschwer and Samuel Taschwer; her great grandchild Elaine Davenport; her siblings, Chick Neeb (Dick), Tim Schatzka and Becky Schatzka; and her niece Bonnie Schoenike.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pine Lake United Methodist (W8301 County Rd M, Westfield, WI 53964). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
For many years Alzheimer's disease gradually stole her away from us, depriving Kay of her memories but never her spirit; as she fought, sometimes literally, the progression of her disease.
