He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Schoenike and Beverly Schoenike (Scharnow); his grandparents, Herbert, Ellen Scharnow, Anna and Gustav Schoenike; and his brother-in-law Robert Stroh.
He is survived by: his siblings, Garry Schoenike (Virginia), Dean Schoenike (Mary-Anne), Thomas Schoenike and Carol "Sue" Stroh-Bandt (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
