She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul VanDerLoop and Mildred VanDerLoop (Charais); her husband Marshal Smith; and her son Sean Guy. She is survived by: her son Ian Guy; her grandchildren, Nicalai Chananna (Jasmine), Celina Guy, Jack Guy (Gina) and Violet Guy; her great grandchild Sebastian Guy; her siblings, Suzanne Dougherty, MaryLou VanDerLoop, Beth VanDerLoop, Margy Thompson (Ed), Steven VanDerLoop (Caroline), Catherine VanDerLoop, Barbara Asbury, Celia VanDerLoop and Becky VanDerLoop (Scott Goren); and her grandchild Lexi. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Weyerhaeuser United Methodist Church (W14419 Church St, Weyerhaeuser, WI 54895). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
