With solemn reverence, we commemorate Catherine Marx of Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on June 1, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hila Gillespie and James Doak Gillespie; her brothers, James Wallace Gillespie and Jack Morris Gillespie; her aunt Bonita Brandes; and her nephew Gary Doak Gillespie.
She is survived by: her husband Richard; her sons, Ryan Marx (Sarah Knutilla-Marx) and Christopher Marx (Joan Alvarado); her sister-in-law Alma Gillespie; her nieces, Deborah Mitchell (Max), Patricia Porter (Carl) and Elizabeth Gillespie; her nephew John Gillespie (Sheila); and her granddaughters, Adelaide Marx and Lillian Marx. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the United Methodist Church of Whitefish Bay (819 E Silver Spring Dr, Milwaukee, WI 53217). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
